Today, October 10, 2023, DISADECO celebrates cooperative month through a Thanksgiving mass and dedication of the DISADECO hotel, restaurant, resort and events center. Ten years ago, the cooperative was awarded as a national gawad parangal awardee under the medium type category. In the cooperative month last year, it received its recognition as the first billionaire cooperative in the province of Quirino. Along with the growth of the cooperative is the lowering of interest on loans from 24% to 18% to now 12%. As finances strengthen, more services are developed creating jobs and generating employment for its members. The project that we just dedicated, is in response to SDG 3 Good Health and Well Being. The complex provides services for relaxation and mental health. More projects are in the pipeline in response to members’ needs and at the same time create employment opportunities.
